RECTANGULAR METALLIC, MODULAR, PREFABRICATED DUCT CONNECTED WITH A BOLT ON TRANSVERSAL FLANGE.

Manufactured industrially from a sheet metal coil (1220 mm width),in the sides the roll formers does the transverse flange in L-shaped duct section. The TDF system (Transversal duct flange) is generally known as "the four bolt connection" and it has had great acceptance that it is an alternative to the reinforced transverse joint T-25b by SMACNA, the flange is integrated to the wall of the duct using the same metal sheet, once the duct is folded the rectangular flange is formed. This is completed with the quick and easy installation of 4 corner elements (cal 1.5 mm) that hold the 4 carriage screws, which guarantee the joint. To reinforce the airtight in the ducts, this has a gasket (foam, rubber, etc) and depending on the length of its side, various clips are installed additionally according to standards.

The longitudinal seam is a mechanical lock (L-2 or L-1 SMACNA) without welding or rivets avoiding material deformation or deterioration and providing more resistance and excellent presentation. It also has an exclusive double tab at each end of the duct, which reduce air leakage at the corners , providing better sealing in the joint. Manufacturing complies with international technical standards SMACNA.
